|The Nashville AIDS Walk and 5k Run raises money and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS in Middle Tennessee and beyond.|
The 2016 AIDS Walk and 5k Run will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 (9:00am Registration, 10:00am Community & Business Fair and Meghan Linsey Concert, 11:00am Walk/Run, 12:00pm Awards) at Public Square Park. We expect more than 2,000 people to attend.
Festivities include a Community & Business Fair, entertainment and children's activities.
The Walk is approximately 3.1 miles long and takes the average person about 45 minutes - 1 hour. A brief ceremony will follow. Water will be provided free to all registered walkers. (See below for complete event schedule).
The AIDS Walk and 5k Run is a family affair; kids and pets are welcome! Please come prepared to clean up after your pet.
The Nashville CARES AIDS Walk and 5k Run benefits thousands of individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Nashville/Davidson County and seventeen surrounding counties of northern Middle Tennessee. It also supports HIV prevention education for tens of thousands of people from all walks of life.
